Tamara Nelson has an active litigation practice on behalf of corporate and institutional clients. Her areas of practice include general liability with an emphasis on complex torts, labor and employment, professional negligence and commercial litigation. She also is experienced in products liability, civil rights litigation, and municipal liability. She grew up in Southern California and moved to the Northwest in 1992. She earned her B.A. from the University of Washington in 1994 and her J.D. from Seattle University School of Law in 1997.
Ms. Nelson is admitted to the Washington State Bar Association and the United States District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Washington, as well as the Ninth Circuit Federal Court of Appeals. She is a member of the Washington Defense Trial Lawyers and the King County Bar Association. She is very active in community issues, volunteering with the King County Bar Association Community Legal Services Program, providing pro bono legal services; and sitting on the Board of Directors of Lawyers Helping Hungry Children, a Washington non-profit organization committed to ending childhood hunger.
Outside of her law career, Ms. Nelson lives a second life as a dedicated “foodie” who loves to dine out and entertain at home.
